Hon. Capt. Davies is an astute politician and entrepreneur with diverse global experience in business development in various sectors. Is a former Hon. Minister of Lands, Country Planning and the Environment, and General Manager of the Sierra Leone Ports Authority.
Hon. Capt. Davies holds a Master Mariner, Foreign-Going, First Class Unlimited Certificate of Competency from The London College of Navigation, London, U.K with more than a decade practical sea-going experience.

Transitioning into telecommunications, he played pivotal roles at MTN Ghana and Vodafone Ghana, spearheading major initiatives such as SIM registration implementation and product innovation. His leadership at Airtel Nigeria and Airtel Zambia drove exponential revenue growth, including growing monthly value-added services revenue significantly and increasing social media engagement.
